Few words about our founder:
Late Ram Lakhan Mahto
Bharti Bhandar Patna was founded by Ram Lakhan Mahto in 1980’s. He was a great personality with who gained his Master Degree in 1950’s, that was like a great deal for those time and a very rare incident. After that he had executed his career as Head-Master in “T.K.Ghosh Academy, Patna” and served there for 35-40 years, he was a great teacher with lots of knowledge variability in almost every field.
At mid, in 80’s he started this business as part time/side business with a physical store at Nayatola, Patna. He resumed “Bharti Bhandar”, to full time after his retirement, he managed it with his full commitment and elaborated this business to Ranchi, Pusa and many other Agriculture & Veterinary hubs situated in Bihar & Jharkhand. He had a great dream to create a “Library” for all, but unfortunately numbers of problem postponed this project for indefinite time.
He handover this business to his elder son “Ashok Kumar Mahto” and after some years he left us at 5th September 2009, fortunately the day was so special for him as well i.e. “Teacher’s day”.
Hence, In honour of him, the founding date for Bharti Bhandar was taken and celebrated as on “Teacher’s day”.
